The contributions I've made to the research project throughout the past 3 weeks were:
- During the meeting minutes, I provided a listing of the advantages and disadvantages of the Elevating Wheelchair idea in terms of desirability, feasibility, and viability together with a brief description of a problem statement and why this idea would be a solution to the problem.
- I contributed to the research for stakeholders and came across Falcon Mobility. Falcon Mobility is one the main distributors of personal mobility aid equipment for hospitals across Singapore therefore Falcon Mobility was selected as the team's targetted stakeholder for the idea.
- I contributed to the research for a mechanical elevating system that would allow a wheelchair to elevate and found two systems:
- Spring System
- Piston System (Found in office chairs)
- I drew the following illustrations of the Mobilift's components in the Final Report.
